Centennial Plaza
Consultation has concluded
What design features do you want to be a part of the future Centennial Plaza?
BACKGROUND:
East St. Paul’s Centennial Plaza, a project in commemoration of the municipality’s 100th anniversary, received a significant funding boost this past week. The Government of Canada delivered a grant of $319,000.00 towards the Plaza from the government's Legacy Fund, which has a mandate to help communities build arts and heritage projects.
In addition to the $319,000.00, $32,500.00 has been gifted to date from local residents and business owners through the Municipality’s community sponsorship wall, $30,000.00 from the Provincial Government - Manitoba Community Places Program, and the Municipality is committed to contributing $448,000.00 from its Capital Budget
A community open house was held on February 3, 2016 to gather initial ideas and feedback for the Plaza, now that we have received this grant we would like more feedback, so please share your opinion with us. You can do so by clicking the 'Take Survey' button below under the 'Surveys & Forms' tab.
